Eating disorders

I offer support for people with eating disorders and disordered eating

Disordered eating can be anything from feeling a little bit guilty about what you’re eating to feeling totally out of control around food.

I’m here to help

I hold the National Centre for Eating Disorders Practitioner Advanced Diploma in Eating Disorders and Obesity and I follow their approach to counselling people with eating disorders, people of larger size and people with obesity problems - this is a more directive approach than traditional counselling and therapy.

Recovery IS possible and life without an eating disorder is true freedom.

Suffering from an eating disorder can be extremely lonely - I know this from my own experience with anorexia nervosa. I’m here to walk alongside my clients and to help them become empowered to make the changes needed to becoming happy and healthy and to have the life they deserve. My way of working is to look forwards and take practical steps to recovery - both in the physical and psychological areas of their lives.

‘Caroline has been nothing but a professional, kind and caring eating disorder therapist - helping me to understand what I was going through and finding ways of dealing with it through a series of tools and tasks. Caroline strives to make you want to be better for yourself. If you are looking for someone to not only change the way you look at food, but also your outlook on life alongside food, then Caroline is the person you’re looking for.’
